Donald Joseph Qualls also known as DJ Qualls in America is an American actor and producer. In the years since he gained fame for his role on Road Trip, he's appeared in over 20 movies. These include The New Guy Hustle & Flow, The Core and The New Guy Hustle & Flow. Also, he has been on over 22 shows, including Breaking Bad Supernatural and Scrubs. Qualls, who was diagnosed at 14 years old with Hodgkin lymphoma is an incredibly strong fighter. After two years of treatment the cancer went into Remission. The treatment, however, at such an early age caused a significant impact on his body and thwarted his growth. Financial security became his main objective once he began, as he'd seen poverty all through his childhood. In an interview, he said that if I don't achieve financial stability or I feel out of control in the world I will be unhappy. In a conversation, he also reflects on his childhood. He is determined to stop bullies. The cruelty of bullying breaks my heart, he says. DJ's ideal job is become a father on reel as well as in reality. But, he admits that the directors rarely make him the ideal choice for those kinds of characters. One day he'd love to have a child so that he could devote less time on his career in order to spend more time with the newborn.
